GRFA Finals 2008

All finals matches must achieve a result. Normal match duration will apply for all divisions/age groups, with the normal restriction on interchanges at the end of each half. If, at the end of normal time, scores are tied, two periods of extra time will be played. No interchanges will be allowed during the last 5 minutes of each half of extra time. (Duration of extra time will vary according to division/age group as follows: Men, Women, U17 & U15 Boys - 2 x 15 minutes, all other age groups - 2 x 10.) If, at the end of extra time, scores are tied, a penalty shoot out will take place. (Standard penalty shoot out format and rules will apply.)

Grand finals (on September 13th and 14th) will be played at nominated venues. Clubs have been given the opportunity to tender to host grand finals. This process is still underway. All other finals will be hosted by the highest placed team (depending on ground availability). As soon as grand final venues have been allocated, final finishing positions are known, and decisions about ground availability and/or venue or time clashes have been made, these fixtures will be updated. Throughout the duration of the finals, as results and goalscorers become available they will be published on this page and subsequent fixture and venue (and, if necessary, match time) details will be updated accordingly.
